1. Eligibility & Acceptable Use

  1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use WhatScaling.
  2. You agree to use our Services only for lawful business purposes.
  3. You agree not to misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the Services, nor to attempt unauthorized access.

2. Accounts & Registration

  1. To access most features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  3. You are fully responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Payments & Subscriptions

Secure Payments

  1. Yes — your payments are secure. WhatScaling does not store your payment credentials.
  2. Payment data is securely encrypted and processed via trusted third-party providers such as Stripe.

Billing & Auto-Renewals

  1. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as outlined in Section 7 (Refunds).
  2. Unless canceled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle.

Plan Upgrades

  1. You may upgrade your plan at any time via your billing dashboard.
  2. Upgrades are prorated — you only pay the difference for the remaining billing period.
  3. Payment is required immediately to activate the upgrade.

Plan Downgrades

  1. You may downgrade your plan at any time via your billing dashboard.
  2. Downgrades are effective immediately. Any credit from the price difference will be applied to your future invoices.

Failed Payments

  1. If an automatic payment fails, you will be notified and granted a grace period to update your payment method.
  2. Failed payments are logged in your transaction history, and you may retry payment manually via your dashboard.

Cancellations

  1. You may cancel your subscription anytime. Canceled subscriptions will not auto-renew.
  2. Paid service will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

  1. Refunds are available only for annual plans, and must be requested within 14 calendar days of payment.
  2. Refunds are not available for:
  3. Monthly subscriptions
  4. Upgrades to higher-tier plans
  5. Cancellations made after the 14-day refund period

5. Intellectual Property

  1. All content, branding, and software associated with WhatScaling are owned or licensed by us.
  2. You may use the Services for your internal business purposes, but may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without written consent.

6. User Content

  1. You retain ownership of any content you upload or submit to the Services.
  2. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it for operating and improving our Services.
  3. You agree not to upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

7. Third-Party Services

  1. Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms and APIs. We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms.

8. Disclaimers

  1. WhatScaling is provided “as is” and “as available.”
  2. We make no guarantees that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs.

11. Termination

  1. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct.
  2. You may terminate your account at any time via your dashboard.
